it's frida here-one of the 3 swedish girls who bought a 5days divingtour(liveaboard) to the similan islands of you in march this year

many nice memories! the national park was amazing with the beatifull lake and large cave (took a one day tour). the divetour was outstanding...

SNORKEL TRIP KOH TAO & KOH NANG YUAN |

This is the definately the best snorkelling trip in the Gulf of Thailand! Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan are rated as the two best snorkeling sites in the Gulf, with their amazing corals and aquatic life. You will see ’Nemo’ Anemone fish swimming in the beautiful and colourful anemone’s and be amazed at the enormous table, stag horn, mushroom and lettuce corals.
There are various varieties of sponges such as the blue, barrel and pink sponges. If you love fish then you will see a vast array of the fishes of south east Asia. They include damsels, fusiliers, squirrelfish, butterfly fish, angel fish, bannerfish, batfish, parrotfish, sweetlips and trevallys. You may even get the chance to see a hawksbill turtle, barracuda, black tip reef shark and blue spotted stingray! Koh Nangyuan is linked via a sandbank where you are provided a buffet ' eat as much as you like' lunch!
Be aware seats are limited so it is recommended that you pre-book online with BackapckersThailand.com.
The tour leaves at 08.30am by High Speed Boat and transfers you to a large snorkeling boat in Koh tao where masks and snorkels are provided. (fins not permitted as Koh nang Yuan is a national marine park). You will depart Koh tao by high speed boat at 3pm and return to koh phangan approximately 1615pm.
