Koh Phangan Activities - Thai Cooking

Learn the amazing secret ingrediants of Thai food and have a wonderful experience at the same time! Backpackers Information Centre can book you into a traditional working Thai kitchen where you will cook alongside experienced and professional trained chefs. 

You will cook four different dishes either vegetarian, meat dishes or a combination of the two from a large choice of different recipes.  The school is quite unique as it offers you choice whereas many cooking schools work from a fixed menu only. The Thai Cooking school is located in Haadrin on Koh Phangan. 

Group sizes are limited to a maximum ten persons due to the number of gas hobs at the school therefore it is advisable to pre-book here.

There is a choice of 1 day, 3 day or 5 day Courses - you will experience more recipes the more days you do!

Upon starting the cooking course, first you visit a small traditional market to select all your ingredients and then you :

• Choose your dishes!
• Select your vegetables
• Learn all about Thai spices
• Prepare & cook 5 different dishes in a working Thai kitchen
• Enjoy eating all your dishes in a lovely resturant!
• Enjoy your meal with a free drink
• Review the recipes and do the important notes
• Then you can cook Thai the traditional way at home !!!!!
