Dive Centers - Viking Divers Koh Phi Phi

Viking Divers has an authorised PADI diving centre based on Phi Phi Island, in the Krabi province of Southern Thailand. We specialise in diving trips around Phi Phi Island and can offer a wide range of excellent scuba adventures as well as PADI courses, certified by PADI, that can get you internationally certified as an open water diver or allow you to take you skills to the next level. Our team is multilingual so we can provide education in your language complemented with course materials such books and videos in your native tongue. We have been diving around Phi Phi since 1991 and the Viking Divers business has been running since 1996 and has featured in travel books as well as magazine articles around the world.

We have two custom built dive boats and a shop with a separate air-conditioned classroom area. We have lots of sets of gear and can support large groups of divers but we generally split these into smaller groups for a personalised service. We always provide a divemaster for guiding around each dive sites each day. Not only is Phi Phi famous for its underwater beauty, but above water there is plenty to keep you entertained - whether you want to have a relaxing escape from it all or want to party the night way. You can be sure you will have a great time on Phi Phi Island. There is something for everyone!

Directions: We're easy to find: If you turn right when you come off the pier and walk along the main street. At the fish monument turn left and walk up to the Tsunami memorial garden - we are just opposite it. Or just ask one of the friendly local - lots of them wear our famous Viking Divers T-shirts. The shops are great places to hang out and chat with the staff or meet other divers - it's a very sociable shop where everyone is friendly and hospitable. Visiting divers have even covered the walls with great paintings.

At Viking Divers we use all the latest equipment made by the top brand names such as SeaQuest, Aqualung, Spiro, Mares etc. We have our own underwater video gear so you can take home your own DVD of your underwater experiences. We maintain everything in a first class condition. As well as the standard equipment we also have dive computers, underwater scooters, cameras and videos and also a PC with always-on internet access. We're Wired! There is a fantastically diverse range of dive sites within easy reach of Viking Divers on Phi Phi Island. All sites generally boast fantastic variations of marine life, hard and soft coral gardens, visiting pelatics and if your lucky you may even spot the odd Manta Ray or Whale Shark!

We have dives for the experienced and veteran divers, great places to learn to dive or brush up on you skills, cave dives, wall dives, drift dives, pinnacle dives, shark dives and we even have a 150ft wreck dive! All in all you'll be hard pushed to be able to find such a diversity of dive sites that are within easy reach of such an idyllic island. Our main dive boat has been designed to be the most comfortable boat on the island. We have a sun deck on the top and a spacious shaded area at the back. There's plenty of room to kit up without being cramped and we always ensure that your trip never feels crowded or impersonal. Our PADI Instructors only ever take out small groups so you'll be ensured a personal service. We also have a super-fast speedboat for trips to further way sites such as King Cruiser wreck dive. By having the fastest boat on the island, it means we can avoid the crowd at the top class sites by getting to them hours before.
