For low cost liveaboard diving, we offer the M/V Nangnun. Our liveaboard boat has been designed to exactly meet the requirements of our customer – in the case of MV Nangnun a basic yet fun boat with a maximum 8 persons on each tour.

We provide small groups - maximum 4 divers per group, high safety standards, excellent food and a lot of fun!

Our unique fun boat, the only liveaboard boat specifically catering to travellers or those of you on a budget, offers lots of good diving, good food & good company at a very affordable price.

With only eight customers onboard, supervised by two professional dive staff, we are able to offer a very personalised trip and friendly service with the emphasis on safety, good food and diving, diving, diving ...

During the trip there is plenty of time for visiting the different beaches and exploring the islands, including the chance to climb to the top of the famous rock formation at Ao Guerk for beautiful views over the bay, or visit the National Park Headquarters on Koh Miang.

Enjoy the diverse diving of the Similan Islands, from the extensive coral reefs to the canyons and gullies formed by underwater granite boulders with numerous swimthroughs.Also you will make a dive along the near vertical slope of Koh Bon - the only true wall dive in this area, and keep a careful watch for the manta rays, often seen playing in the waters near this island.

And in the evening, relax on our open-air sundeck. With no air-conditioning onboard and therefore no generator running at night, the MV Nangnun is one of the last boats in the islands offering total peace and quiet. Bring along your guitar - this is the perfect setting for those lazy tropical evenings

You can sleep out on top deck under the stars too if the weather is good!  Don't worry if not, you are provided with bedding and the cover will be pulled over the roof if it drops a little cold at night time!

Dining onboard our liveaboard boats

Before the first dive of the day, help yourself to free tea/coffee and a light snack to help you wake up. After the first dive a western style breakfast is served. Lunch and dinner are Thai style - a selection of different Thai dishes (not so spicy!) with a strong emphasis on fish and seafood. Vegetarians are welcome, and special food requirements can be catered for.

Throughout the day light snacks and fresh fruit are served and soft drinks are free - help yourself. Beer is available after the last dive of the day (or before for anyone not diving) at B60 per can. With our excellent cooks, we are certain that our onboard cuisine will be a memorable part of your dive trip.

Located ... on the west coast of Phang Nga province in Southern Thailand, Khao Lak and Thap Lamu harbour are the nearest departure points for the Similan Islands.

Only 1 hour north of Phuket International Airport, two hours north of Phuket town and easily accessible by overnight bus from Bangkok, we are also on the route for daily bus and minibus services from Krabi, Surat Thani, Ranong and Phuket town.

Professionalism ... We are a PADI 5 STAR IDC DIVE OPERATOR - a member of the world’s largest diver training agency. We also sponsor DAN (the Divers Alert Network) and are affiliated with our local recompression chamber, SSS Hyperbaric Services Of Thailand, located in Phuket.

Experience ... we employ only qualified Divemasters, speaking a variety of languages - including English, German, French, Dutch, Danish, Afrikaans, Polish and Thai. Many of our staff return season after season and therefore have logged hundreds of dives in the Andaman Sea.

Safety…. One of the most important points, for you - and for us. All our dive equipment is purchased new and serviced regularly and all dives are planned to be well within the recommended limits. We have full safety equipment at our Dive Center and onboard all our liveaboard boats, including comprehensive medical kits and 4 oxygen rebreather kits, giving 100% oxygen for at least 5 hours in the unlikely event of an emergency.
