Phuket to Patong by Van

If you’re traveling from Phuket Airport, van service is the perfect choice. These 10-passenger minivans depart from Phuket Airport 4 times a day, and bring you directly to the hotel of choice in Patong. The travel time is a bit long considering the distance, but this is due to the fact that the minivan picks up and drops off passengers in different sports along the way.
Call Me Taxi minivans are air conditioned, clean, and have comfortable seats. However, they have limited luggage space – one suitcase of up to 20 kg is allowed per passenger. If you have more luggage with you, you should book an extra luggage seat.

If you prefer a bus to a smaller minivan, there are 18 daily Phuket Smart Bus departures from Phuket Airport. This bus departs from Phuket Airport, and arrives at Phuket PEA Patong (Phuket Smart Bus Stop). This arrival station is located in central Patong, minutes walk from the Patong Beach and most of the resorts.
If you have heavy suitcases and don’t feel like walking, it’s very easy to catch a taxi or tuk tuk on the adjoining road (Rat Uthit Song Roi Pi Rd).
Phuket Smart Bus vehicles are very spacious and have enough luggage space inside the bus (a dedicated compartment). Moreover, they have free onboard WiFi and battery charging points at every seat.
You can either buy tickets for this bus by cash or QR code (pay to the driver on the bus), for 100 baht, or book them online in advance (however, in this case, the price is 199 baht).
