Getting from Khao Lak to Khao Sok by bus is pretty straightforward and wallet-friendly! There are around six buses daily, starting as early as 08:20 and the last one at 15:40, so you have a good range of choices. It’s super convenient, right? The journey takes around 2 to 2.5 hours, and it’s air-conditioned too – great for escaping that Thai heat.
There is currently one company, 465 Surat Thani Phuket Transport operating on this route. They have comfortable reclining seat buses.
Buses leave from the Khao Lak Nang Thong Center, and when you arrive, you’ll be at the Khao Sok Van Station.

This option is slightly more expensive but very convenient. These shared minivans pick you up in the hotel in Khao Lak, and take you all the way to the hotel (or other address) in Khao Sok. If your hotel is within a 7 km radius of the Khao Sok Bus Station, the drop-off will be free of charge. If your hotel is out of that radius, there might be a small extra charge.
There are two departures at 11:00 and 17:00, and the operating company is called Call Me Taxi.
These are 10-passenger air-conditioned vans. They are very comfortable to travel in, but you should remember that space inside these vans is limited.
