Koh Jum to Koh Kradan

If you’re planning to visit Koh Kradan – don’t think twice. This tiny remote island in Trang province is a true paradise! With no roads, cars, or motorbikes, this island has the most untouched nature. Getting from Koh Jum to Koh Kradan to relax, unwind, and soak up the sun is easy with a few public transport options. Below, we will describe how to get to Koh Kradan by speedboats, and by taxi and longtail boat.

Koh Jum to Koh Kradan by Speedboats

  • Price: 1,500 THB
  • Transport type: speedboat + speedboat
  • Companies: Tigerline Travel
  • Travel time: 1 hr 45 min – 2.5 hours

Traveling by speedboat + speedboat combo is the cheapest way to get to Koh Kradan. The whole journey takes up to 2.5 hours. Speedboats depart from the Koh Jum Pier and arrive at the Koh Kradan Pier on the eastern side of the island. Currently, Tigerline Travel is the only company selling these ferries, and the route is operated by Sirilanta Speedboats. Their speedboats are new, equipped with four motors, and a small onboard toilet, and have lifejackets available for every passenger.

There is also a transit at Koh Lanta central station, where you switch to another speedboat going to Koh Kradan.

You should arrive to check in for the ride around 30 minutes before the boat departure (check-in is located at the Tigerline and Sirilanta counter on the Koh Jum Pier). Since speedboats have limited luggage space, every passenger is allowed 1 item of hand luggage and 1 suitcase of up to 30 kilograms.

We recommend booking speedboat tickets in advance, because the seats are limited, and speedboats seel out fast during the high season.

There are two daily departures from Koh Jum – at 09:30 and 12:15. Please see the detailed schedule below.
