Koh Kradan to Koh Lanta by Speedboat

This is the most popular way of travel between the islands. You have a few companies to choose from: Satun Pakbara Speed Boat Club, Tigerline Travel, and Bundhaya Speed Boat offer speedboat services which take just 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach Koh Lanta.
Out of all three, we recommend choosing the Satun Pakbara Speed Boat Club or Bundhaya Speed Boat, as they are most organized and usually depart on time.
The check-in and departure point for all the speedboats is in front of the Kradan Beach Resort. In Koh Lanta, all speedboats arrive at the Saladan Pier.
When traveling by speedboat, it’s recommended to follow a few precautions:
- Book your tickets in advance, especially if you are traveling during peak season.
- Arrive at the ferry pier for check-in at least 30 minutes before departure.
- Always wear a life jacket when onboard, don’t compromise on safety. Life jackets are provided by speedboat companies, and you should keep them on during the whole journey duration.
- Be ready to get wet. Speedboats travel at fast speed and splashes are often unavoidable.
- Bring plenty of sunscreen, because you might be stuck in the same sun-facing position for a few hours (speedboats often get crowded and seating is limited).

Koh Kradan to Koh Lanta by Taxi and Longtail Boat

The second travel option is longer because it involves travel by a longtail boat which is slower than a speedboat). However, you have the whole vehicle and boat to yourself. King Travel will pick you up at the hotel in Koh Kradan and will drop you off at the hotel of choice at Koh Lanta.
