Is this a good travel option? Definitely!
First of all, the price of the van ticket is cheaper than that of the bus and costs just 250 THB per person. In Bangkok, they depart from the Mochit New Van Terminal. Same as with the bus, passengers are asked to come for the check-in in sound 60 minutes before the departure time. This way you will ensure that all your documents are checked, store your baggage, and make sure you’re happy with the seat.
Unfortunately, van travel comes with a few drawbacks. Since there is no luggage compartment, you have to book a spare seat just for the bag (if you have a suitcase or a large backpack). So it’s more suitable for those who travel light.
There is no toilet on the van, but it will make quick toilet stops on the way. So you can breathe some air, have a snack, and stretch your legs.
Vans have air conditioning, so bring a jacket if you don’t stand the low temperatures.

Spending on how large is your group, you can book either a sedan or a 9-seater van. But then again, vans don’t have a separate baggage compartment, so remember about extra empty seats if you have many suitcases.
