The speedboats are sold by Tigerline Travel, and it’s Sirilanta Speedboat that’s operating them. The price for the trip is 1,920 THB, and you’ll be traveling across the waves for two hours. However, these speedboats sometimes have a habit of running a little behind schedule, so it’s always smart to plan for some extra time just in case.
The check-in counter is right in front of The Steakhouse restaurant at the entrance of the walking street in Koh Lipe. Keep an eye out for it! And if it’s low tide, just follow the signs—they’ll guide you right to where you need to be. The check-in for the speedboat starts 60 minutes before departure. You’ll want to have all your stuff ready and checked in at least 30 minutes before the boat sets off.

- Book accommodation in advance, because Koh Libong has only four resorts, which sell out fast during the high season.
- Always wear life jacket when traveling by speedboat, because the ride can be very bumpy and the boat rides fast.
- There are small toilets onboad the speedboats, but we recommend to use a restroom before the ride in case it’s non functioning.
- If you have extra large luggage, it’s better to book an extra seat, because luggage allowance is only 30 kg per person.
