The only way to travel between the two islands is by ferry. There are 13 daily departures from Samui to Phangan, the earliest at 7:00 AM and the last at 6:30 PM. The speediest option is provided by either Lomprayah or Haad Rin Queen, both of whom have speedboats that will get you there in 30 minutes. Other ferry services range from 45 minutes up to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on the boat type and departure pier. All the ferries arrive at Thong Sala Pier on the southwest part of Koh Phangan island, except for Hadd Rin Queen, who arrives at Phangan Haad Rin Queen Pier.
