While the public transport options may be limited in Pattaya compared to its large neighbor Bangkok – it doesn’t mean you have to miss out on exploring this fascinating city.

How to get here: with its convenient location just five to six kilometers away from the Walking Street, you can easily take a Songthaews sharing taxi by paying just 10 Baht or use Bolt to reach the Jomtien bus station in 10 minutes.
Jomtien Bus Station in Pattaya is a great option for travelers who need to make a trip from Pattaya to the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. It’s highly recommended that you purchase your ticket two to three hours before your departure time, or even better, book your ticket online in advance. Pattaya Van Terminal 3

Located close to the Pattaya city center, Van Terminal 3 is the perfect destination for a few getaways! Found behind a gas station and mini-big c store, this bus station provides you with a great opportunity to depart for Nongkhai and Chantaburi (if you wish to get your Laos visa). The area has all the necessary amenities such as toilets, benches under the canopy outside, and some in small paddocks. Though no air conditioners are provided, fans are present to keep you cool while waiting. All the signs are written in Thai so be sure to brush up on the language before heading out!
Nakhonchai Air Bus Station

Nakhonchai Air Bus Station is one of the busiest stations in town, and a great station to call home while waiting for your bus or another mode of transportation. Nakhon Chai Air is the main company operating at this station.
With plenty of places to sit while you wait, ticket windows to buy your tickets, and a counter for food and drinks, you’ll certainly never be bored here. And with all the people milling around, it’s best to arrive just before the scheduled departure time instead of early.Â
If you need storage for your bags there is also a luggage storage room for just 20 baht per bag that looks secure. Plus to add extra incentive, there is a nice air-conditioned waiting lounge with monitors that keep you updated on when your bus will come and even a few toilets nearby.
