A visit to Koh Phangan Paradise Waterfall is an amazing experience for the whole family. With an entrance fee of only 30 baht, it makes it an easy place to explore and spend time with kids. It’s easy to arrive by car or motorbike, it takes less than 100 m of walking to reach the waterfall, and kids can swim with a rope hanging from a tree—all these make this such a great destination.
Taking only five minutes drive from Phaeng Waterfall, located in the middle of the island along Chaloklum Road, this spot is accessible and rewarding. If you do happen to be in Koh Phangan, then visiting the waterfall right after monsoon season or after a heavy rainfall experience would be absolutely perfect when there’s plenty of water rushing down!
The climb up the waterfall is definitely worth it for those who feel adventurous enough! At the top, you can enjoy stunning views. Be warned though–there are plenty of mosquitoes around, so be sure to bring insect repellent as protection!
Phaeng Noi Waterfall

It can take around 3 hours to explore the full path, including swimming at each waterfall and admiring the astounding views from the amazing lookout point, however, it is time well spent.
Plus, during the dry season, there is still plenty of water, so it does not dry up like other nearby waterfalls.
Remember to bring insect protection such as mosquito repellent for your own safety as well as good hiking shoes for easier hiking. Sramanora Party Waterfall

Thaan Sadet

Located in the eastern part of Koh Phangan, Thaan Sadet Waterfall is a spectacular sight to behold. With its stunning views and secluded location, it’s no surprise that Thai Royalty first visited this waterfall in 1888. Be warned, though, that this is not for small kids, as the water can be strong and the trail is very steep. However, for older teens and adults, it makes for the perfect day out with friends. There is even an exotic native jungle surrounding it, offering a unique atmosphere that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
For a 100 THB national park entry fee, you are granted access to the waterfall and will also find a small beach at the bottom that has a beautiful view. Just before you get to the end of the road, there is a public parking lot and restrooms with a shower.
Thaan Sadet waterfall has something special hidden away among its rocks—an inscription from King Rama V himself that’s still visible today!
Namtok Than Prawet Waterfall

For nature and waterfall lovers, Koh Phangan’s Than Pradet Waterfall is a must-visit destination. This small but scenic series of waterfalls can be accessed from either Thong Nai Pan Noi beach or from the main road above the bay, and it runs for about two kilometers, presenting quite a challenging climb.
At the very start of the falls, however, there are numerous great places to chill and catch your breath before attempting the climb. This collection of small waterfalls offers visitors more than just an outdoor experience; it’s an opportunity to take some beautiful photographs too! If you do decide to go here, we suggest heading off in the afternoon so you don’t miss out on those prime photo opportunities, but also remember to wear something sturdy, preferably not slippers!
Namtok Wang Sai

The beautiful Koh Phangan Namtok Wang Sai Waterfall is located just a few minutes away from Haad Mae Haad Beach, where for just a 50 THB entrance fee you can spend some time bathing in its dozens of pools surrounded by impressive cascading waterfalls.
You can access it by following the directions icon labeled “Waterfall Bar,” and it will take you to this refreshing paradise that is usually very private and quite peaceful. This was definitely one of the best things we did on Koh Phangan!
A strong recommendation would be to visit after it rains, too—the water really picks up and makes the experience even more memorable.
Thong Nai Pan Waterfall

To get to the waterfall, all you have to do is take a short walk up the river and prepare to be amazed at its secluded splendor.
With a stunningly tranquil atmosphere in the jungle, it is situated far away from crowds of tourists. The peak time to visit this unique waterfall is right after the rainy season when the falls gush with crystal-clear water.
